The Hamilton Medical Legal Society was established by a group of visionary Hamilton area doctors and lawyers in 1960 to broaden contacts between the two professions. Since then, it has expanded to include professionals across the whole legal and health care spectrum.

The educational and social activities of the Society over the past years have contributed enormously to the unique spirit of co-operation and the high standards of competence and professionalism that characterize the medical-legal community in the Hamilton area.
